How Counseling for Life Transitions Works

Through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I support clients in creating space for their experience, putting together what's most important, and making space for growth and grief. We will call on your inner wisdom (yes, you do got that) to give our work a sense of direction. Much of our work together is focused on building self-compassion. Therapy moves at your own pace. Counseling for Life Transitions consists of 50 or 75-minute, one-on-one sessions that help you work through your concerns. In addition to listening, I will ask questions and provide guidance based on my experience, I play an active role. Here’s how it will work step-by-step:
